In Greek mythology, Leto was the mother of Apollo and Artemis, twin gods of Sun and Moon.

Our company vision and goals share a similar maternal nature when it comes to harnessing the power of the sun. We aim to help US solar companies grow and foster their own brand of American made solar panels, providing the foundation and opportunities for them to take advantage of an industry still very much in its infancy.

LETO Solar will help you grow your business in ways you might not have considered, from helping you brand your own products, to full-on manufacturing and marketing. We can help you build, target, and achieve your goals while giving you the freedom to focus on what is really important to you – whether it be sales, distribution, installation, or any other goal, we will be there, making it easy.

With the LETO Solar PLM, you can assemble and manufacture your own solar panel. It will be US made, certified, and competitive. By streamlining the most important and expensive piece of the solar panel, you will be able to provide real value.
Our goal will employ hundreds of jobs in manufacturing alone, while giving installers and distributors a proven, cost-effective alternative that has been put together by US laborers. The benefits extend all the way through the industry, down to the end-user, much more so than artificially supporting companies that have inferior margins and business models with subsidies. We believe the value of an industry rests not in the bureaucracy of legislation, but of real-world, tangible factories, jobs, and  people.
Solar panel manufacturing is an expensive business. A typical small 10MW manufacturing line can costs upward of $3 million dollars initial investment and months upon months of research, installing, and testing. And in all likelihood you will still be 30% more expensive than an import.
LETO Solar provides a 10MW manufacturing factory with less than $50,000 in upfront equipment costs; all you need is
testing equipment for certification, and it can be up and running in just 2 months. Even if you had no plans to be a manufacturer, and are considering an OEM brand or just distributing, down payments and deposits are standard practices in the industry. Balance payment terms are frequently leveraged against ownership of the goods. LETO Solar provides you with the financial support you need with 30 or 60 day payment terms so you can first focus on getting started right away.

As with any new venture, the PV industry is not easy to get into right away. There is always much research to be done, new information to be learned, specs to review, orders to plan, shipments to schedule, and finances to calculate. It takes time, and even time alone is never enough; you need experience. LETO Solar is not just product-oriented – we provide a system from the ground up so that you can become a US solar module manufacturer in just 2 months. The PLM (Post Laminated Module) comes with the all the experience and know-how of a company that has been at the forefront of PV manufacturing, market research, and project management – working behind the scenes of some of the largest manufacturers and helping start-ups flourish in a constantly fluctuating market.

One of the big advantages of buying American is the quality guarantee. The LETO Solar PLM (Post Laminated Module) opens the door to a US Made solar panel quality with import prices. With certification done by Intertek and tested to worldwide standards, each PLM is carefully scrutinized under several quality control processes. Each PLM is covered under warranty and comes individually numbered, with a full set of QC flash test data for every serial number.
The PLM is ETL certified, with full testing and endorsement from Intertek. Using the certified PLM, our partners receive a full ETL Listing Report in a fraction of the time and for a fraction of the cost it normally takes to do it on their own.

American made solar panels carry a premium. Labor costs, material costs, overhead, etc., all contribute to a more expensive end product. While Made in USA solar panels are much desired over their foreign counterparts, the escalating price war in the PV market has rendered any such demand almost irrelevant. Current US made solar panel prices remain about 30% above their competitors. Prices of imported products meanwhile continue to decrease every week. The LETO Solar PLM system aims to correct this discrepancy. The PLM (Post Laminated Module) is the most expensive part of the solar panel, containing the backsheet, glass, ribbon, cells and laminate. It is also the most expensive piece to assemble. By consolidating the most expensive pieces of a solar panel into one simple product you can utilize the competitive manufacturing advantage of overseas manufacturers and combine it with the demand for American-made products for a winning solution.
